We would expect this to be run as a rolling 12 month programme and as such we have developed 3 plans to suit varying budgets and site demands.

Content Review
Find out what's missing from the pages that are on the website - check that you are telling the whole story of products, services, facilities, developments, news and reference that fully describes what you do, who you do it for and the benefits that you bring to your customers. Where there are holes we will agree a plan over time to fill them The most likely combination is to agree a plan of articles to be released over time written by us from your briefing (nothing to stop you writing them yourselves!)
Keyword Identification
Having established how you want your customers to find you, we need to make sure that the text of your content reflects those key words so that your search expectations are mirrored by worthwhile content. In practise this means painstakingly examining each page and adjusting the content where necessary to ensure that a varied 'keyword density' is acheived on each page. No rocket science involved in this and we'll happily show you how to acheive it - or you can outsource to us.
Page Optimisation
Establish a programme for reviewing every single page on the site, ensuring that each page has unique page titles, meta descriptions and meta keywords, making sure that the CSS is used properly and that defined headings are used; check for the appropriate number of internal and external links on each page; check that all pictures used are the appropriate size, have 'alt' atrtributes, proper descriptive names and defined height and width attributes. All these parameters have a direct bearing on your page rank and therefore the position of your site in the search engine results.
Sitemap
Every time you make a change to site content the sitemap should be updated to keep the search engine's catalogue of your site up to date. In many cases we can make this an automatic process but it does need to be carefully monitored to make sure that only the pages you want to be on the sitemap are included. This is a task that really belongs with us.
Creating Links
We will agree a list of sites and content that you would like to link to and then work with you or on your behalf to encourage the webmasters involved to create reciprocal links to your content. Wherever possible we will link to sites with a higher page rank than yours and show you how to measure this.
Search Engine Registration and Verification
As part of your 'GoLive' process we hand registered your site with Google, Yahoo and Bing. This programme widens that involvement to the lesser known engines.
